The Kontakt Chemie 33398-AA is a no-clean solder absorbant with fine gauge copper braid with improved wick action.

Recommended applications include control assemblies, printed circuit boards, electronic components, and for freeing components, desoldering plated through holes which prevents short circuits by removing solder bridges.


  • Oxygen free and oil free fine gauge copper wire
  • Contains a special flux for improved wick action
  • The residue is halide free and non-conductive which means it does not need to be cleaned off
  • Free from Rosin (Type R flux) for significant health benefits
  • Up to 4 times quicker than wicks based on Rosin, reducing the risk of heat damage
