IP66 Type 4X Polyester Junction Box with Snap Latch Cover

<p>The <strong>Hammond PJ Series of Polyester Junction Boxes </strong>are designed for use as instrument enclosures, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings, electrical junction boxes or terminal wiring enclosures.<br>They provide insulation and watertight protection to IEC 60529, IP66, where equipment may be hosed down or otherwise become very wet. <br>Ideal for use in applications with high temperatures or highly corrosive environments.</p><p>The moulded fibreglass polyester enclosures with matching doors, can be easily punched, cut, or drilled. <br>They come in a light grey finish and feature enhanced UV inhibitors to protect against outdoor weathering. <br>The enclosure doors are supported by a continuous stainless steel hinge and are secured with Snap Latch door fasteners, which include provision for the addition of a padlock. <br>The enclosure doors are fitted with a captive, oil resistant gasket, which provides a seal when the door is closed.<br>10-32 threaded brass inserts are provided on the inside rear of the enclosures, to enable fitting of an optional internal mounting panel. Mounting hardware is included.<br>Threaded brass inserts are also provided to the rear of the enclosures for fitting of mounting feet/brackets.<br>Stainless steel mounting brackets and hardware are included to enable wall-mounting of the enclosures at the rear. <br><br><br>Optional inner panels are available for the range of enclosures, in a white powder coated steel finish.</p>
