This rectangular inductive sensor detects the proximity of metals within the adjustable sensing range and outputs a switched signal, either normally open or normally closed, so that the output can be set to detect a target or when a target leaves the sensing range. The sensor has a universal AC/DC input and is suitable for industrial applications.
