These hand-held tablet-style enclosures from the Hammond 1599TABL Series are available in a choice of black or grey flame retardant ABS plastic. This range includes a version which has a battery compartment.

  • Ergonomically designed for a comfortable fit in the user's hand
  • Perfect for instrument or mobile data enclosures requiring a touch screen
  • Moulded from flame retardant ABS plastic with a UL flammability rating of 94V-0
  • Has end panel which is removable for easy modification
  • Lap joint construction provides protection against dust and water
  • Designed to meet IP54
  • Bottom half of enclosure includes a moulded inlay for labels (50 x 50 mm)
  • Enclosure is assembled with six M3 0.5 x 18 mm Phillips machine screws, threaded into integral brass bushings
  • Ideal for applications when repetitive assembly and disassembly are required
  • PC Board standoffs moulded into top and bottom of case
  • Battery compartment version includes 8 battery clips for 4 x AA batteries and 2 x 9V PP3 clips
