Watertight, Die Cast Aluminium Enclosures - Hammond 1550Z102F is a thick-walled flanged die-cast enclosure designed for durability and protection in various industrial applications.
  • Thick-wall diecast aluminium watertight electronic instrument enclosure.
  • Rugged diecast aluminium alloy is tough yet easy to machine.
  • Two piece tongue and groove construction for protection against access of dust and water.
  • Strong spot-welded bottom flange allows for easy mounting.
  • Unpainted version is vibra finished for a smooth surface with no sharp edges.
  • Textured black version is coated with tough polyester powder for a lasting finish, even after machining. Finish is applied outside and inside the enclosure.
  • Lid is secured with either two, four, or six stainless steel Philips head machine screws, depending on enclosure size.
  • Lid screws are outside the gasket protection area to eliminate the need for O-rings.
  • Gasket is pre-formed, one-piece silicone rubber and installs easily into lid groove.
  • Gasket has a temperature rating of -40°C to +150°C (-40°F to 302°F).
  • cUL and UL listed under file #E71073.
  • Independently tested to meet IP68 as well as NEMA Type 4, 4X, 12 and 13 ratings.
  • All sizes except 1550Z101F carry an impact rating of IK08 per IEC62262.
