The
GMH 3851 is a resistive material moisture and temperature measuring device that features a data logger and programmable characteristics curves memory. The meter is designed to offer ease of handling, user-friendliness, functional range, and accuracy. The unit meters and displays the absolute moisture content of 494 material types and also can convert measurements to water content, with no need for cumbersome calculation tables. Additionally there is a moisture rating (wet...dry) of the measured material.
Temperature measurements are possible with the use of an external Type K NiCr-Ni thermocouple (not supplied), or the internal NTC sensor. The measurement range is -40°C to +200°C. The onboard data logger will record and process up to 10,000 measurements on demand. The data logger also gives the facility to user specify 4x freely programmable specific characteristics.
The meter is used by architects, inspectors, builders, painters and decorators, carpenters, tilers, wood processing industry, textile industry for precision measurement applications in cut-wood, chip board, veneer, sawdust, wood chips, wood wool, flax, straw, hay, concrete, bricks, plaster, mortar, paper, textiles, firewood, etc.
