Gossen Metrawatt M 700 D METRATESTER 5 & VDE Tester

The Gossen Metrawatt M700D is a measuring instrument for testing mobile devices after repair or maintenance according to DIN VDE 0701 part 1 – 240 and for periodic testing according to DIN VDE 0702. These regulations require the measurement of protective conductor resistance, insulation resistance and equivalent leakage current for repaired or modified electrical devices, as well as testing for the absence of voltage at exposed, conductive parts for data processing systems and office machines. Two mains output sockets are provided on the device to enable a complete range of tests to be carried out. Should any measurement exceed the test's limit the user is given both visual and audible warnings.
