Q. Would this be suitable for turning on a 1HP motor for 30 seconds every 10 minutes? If not what could I use?
A. Hi Jason, thank you for your question. The 8 amp rating may just be on the threshold of the current rating, it may be worth going for a more powerful version like 56-9977 with a 16 amp rating.
