A. Hi Henry, thank you for your question. The lead has a plug and play Genie USB controller I.C embedded within the USB plug, it is not a straightforward wired lead.

A. Dear Daniel, thank you for your question. We believe that these are not completely interchangeable so we always recommend the PICAXE USB cable 13-0849 be used for Picaxe applications.
Useful to use with my Y7 class and y8 robotics club in school. A Bit pricey to have more than one cable for downloading coding / flowchart commands in present financial situation, ideally would love to be able to have a class set to run live robot commands and calibrate sensors etc. Great service though - superfast, no complaints, cheers Rapid!
