Flir C2 Educational R&D Thermal Camera Kit

This marvellous FLIR C2 kit has been specifically designed for use in education and R & D. The kit will help students understand temperature and the effects of power in a hands-on, real-time, dynamic way, studying local phenomena that is familiar and understandable. Using a thermal imaging camera makes it easy to study the effects of temperature on objects due to friction, heating and cooling.

The kit is suitable for use in both secondary and higher education, being capable of forming the basis of basic and advanced lessons. As a modern way of demonstrating temperature effects the thermal imaging camera is much better than rubbing hands together to study friction - just rub the desk with an eraser and observe the effects with FLIR C2. Teachers now can fully explain friction, backing up the theory with empirical evidence that students can see in real-time.

With the included FLIR ResearchIR software students and teachers can prepare professional reports based on the images captured on the camera, using the reports to study and discuss specific measurements from a controlled area, helping to understand temperature in greater detail.
