The Fischertechnik 571909 APS Add On: Annealing Furnace kiln adds a new production module to the Agile Production Simulation (APS).
The standard configuration with a drilling and milling module is extended by the option of a kiln. The additional process module allows the introduction of new derivatives into production or the expansion of existing production configurations by an additional process step.
The furnace consists of a docking station for the AGV and a vacuum gripper that transports the workpiece into the furnace using pneumatics. Hardening is simulated there with a red light. After the process, the workpiece is transported back out of the oven to the gripper. This then places it back on the driverless transport system.
The initial integration of the kiln into production is carried out via the dashboard in just a few minutes; the specific steps are described in the documentation.
When the additional AGV is used, additional learning content is activated in the Digital Learning Platform.
The additional "Kiln" production module activates further learning content in the Digital Learning Platform. Both theory modules and additional tasks in the "Agile production" learning module are activated. These deal with both the introduction of new derivatives into production and the expansion of existing production configurations to include an additional process.
