Q. is this okay for 150 watts
A. Hi Gary, thank you for your question. The heatsink has the following thermal rating: 0.3°C/W. You would need to check the device you are cooling for the recommended heatsink size.

Q. How is this heatsink physically connected to the load, i.e. power transistor(s)?
A. Hi Mike. Thank you for your question. The heatsink does not connect to the load. The heatsink is purely mechanically attached to the transistor to dissipate heat. The connections on the transistor itself connect to a load.
