This ticker tape timer from Eisco is housed in a tough moulded plastic case. The timer operates on 12V AC supply and produces 50/60 dots per second, depending on the mains supply frequency.

The case has a tape guide and a carbon disc plug which can be moved to maximise the use of the discs.
