This high quality Carbon dioxide spectrum tube is designed for use with a suitable power supply capable of holding 260mm tubes.

The tube features a central 100mm capillary providing a large viewing area and, with suitable apparatus, can be used to effectively demonstrate the spectral lines of pure substances.

Note: The tube is intended for intermittent use only and is not to be used as a lamp source. It should be used for periods of 30 seconds on / 30 seconds off. The expected life of spectrum tubes will vary depending on the gas they contain. The useful life will be reduced if the tube is not used as recommended or allowed to overheat. Use only with the Eisco power supply, 52-3613.
