A metal bodied digital hand-held microscope that has both white LEDs and UV LEDs with the ability to switch between them. The two types of LED means that it is possible to use the microscope for general purpose microscopy as well as using the white LEDs for set up and focussing of objects that can then be investigated using the UV LEDs.
The microscope is equipped with a UV emission filter and has adjustable magnification of 10 to 70x + 200x with a resolution of 1.3MP 1280 x 1024. A full aluminium body gives robust protection and ensures a long working life. The high quality optics and high speed USB interface ensure that the output, whether it be still image, video or time-lapsed video, is consistent, sharp and with good low-light sensitivity and accurate colour reproduction.
Additional features include a full suite of calibration and measurement functions and all models are supplied with a set of software, compatible with Windows or Mac OS, that gives the ability to save images and videos, make time lapse recordings and perform calibrated measurements. Suitable for a wide range of applications, including forensic science, medical, engineering research and inspection, security, etc.
