Q. Hi, mounting a component on to this heat sink is achieved using thermal conductive adhesive rather than screwing or bolting it on?
A. Hi Shaiman. Thank you for your question. You could use thermal conductive adhesive or drill a hole and mount the component(s) in a conventional manner.

Q. Hi, I would like to mount a TO-220 package onto this heat sink, can I drill a hole on this heat sink to screw the chip onto it (without affecting its thermal resistance) or is there another method of mounting?
A. Hi Shaiman. Thank you for your question. You could possibly drill this version to use a TO220 but you may also want to consider using 36-0292 as this is designed for a TO220.
