Q. Say I were to install this to a car as part of a circuit to display that an emergency stop button had been activated, could I theoretically put the lamp straight across the battery and it would not blow the lamp? This means I don’t have to put in extra components except from the lamp, and stop switch connected to the battery? The button will control the fuel pump relay with a NC contact and the lamp with a NO contact. Thanks, Jim
A. Hi Jim, thanks for your question. This has a resistor built in so would allow a car battery system to work on the LED light at 12 -13 volts without any extra resistor.
