The VOLTCRAFT FSP-1136 is a 85W fixed voltage linear power supply suitable for use in laboratories, workshops and industry. The FSP-1136 is electronically regulated and produces 13.8V DC and 6A with a current limiter. Its steel plate enclosure makes the FSP-1136 suitable for use even in demanding industrial conditions.

A Useful PSU

This linear PSU works fine with good on-load regulation but runs very hot. It is hot under the no-load condition so I assume this is due to an inefficient EI core transformer.
