Accepts a single PP3 type battery
The 'snap-in' drawer is clearly marked to indicate correct battery insertion
PP3 push-on battery snaps are NOT required
Panel cutout 34.5 x 24.5mm, fixing centres 43 x 3.5mm dia, depth behind panel 54mm
Contact with the tin plated phosphor bronze contacts at the rear of the holder is only made when the drawer is fully inserted into the housing
External connection to the holder is made via solder tags at the rear
