Great Idea - Tight Pins!

This looked like the answer to my garage socket shortage, however, the pins in most of the 6 sockets are very tight. Not so much of a problem in a conventional trailing socket on the ground or on the wall, but when it is suspended in mid-air and dangling from a chain, you have nothing to push against. So, in practice this is very hard to use especially when trying to remove plugs. I don't know if this is just my unit and others will be ok or, if all of these are all made the same. I have had to spend a few hours plugging and unplugging an appliance into all the sockets in turn before suspending this unit in its final intended place in a bid to loosen things up a bit without much success. Not my intended way to spend a Friday night and I feel that I should get out more.

Bought one of these a few years ago for use over an island table, does a good job at a sensible price, i'll be buying more soon for another job.
