1K 50watt Resistor

Good price for an industry standard component. I am using a few to bring some LED downlighters on at a low level when activated by a PIR presence detector. This means it is safer to enter a hallway at night without fumbling for the light switch while avoiding bringing these lights straight on a full brilliance (sometime too much at 4am while nipping to the smallest room!). For my application it should only run at 10 - 15watts and a 150mm square sheet of aluminium is sufficient to dissipate he heat generated. The resistor is cheaper than a dimmer switch too.
