The connectors in the Amphenol BNC range are nickle-coated and use industrial quality brass. The contacts of the plugs are gold-coated brass and the sockets beryllium/copper gold coated. They have a contact resistance of 1.5mΩ for the inner conductor and 1mΩ outer conductor with an insulation resistance 5000MΩ.
