Rapid were delighted to be involved in an award scheme that recognised the achievements of young engineers at Loughborough College.
The first ever ERIKS Apprenticeship Awards were presented to apprentices who have completed their four year Advanced Engineering Apprenticeships with ERIKS, a leading UK supplier of engineering components and industrial services.
Rapid donated multimeters and tool kits to the award scheme.
Loughborough College has worked in partnership with ERIKS UK for six years to deliver apprenticeships to the national organisation and currently has 31
apprentices in years one to four.
“We have so far helped more than 100 apprentices build their engineering skills with ERIKS, developing talented individuals who are playing a key part in the company’s growth and success", said Sarah Helmore, Client Account Manager at Loughborough College. “The launch of these awards ensures all the apprentices are recognised for their hard work over the past four years and are wished every success as their careers develop with ERIKS.”
Denny Wood, HR Director at ERIKS, added: “These inaugural awards have been a fantastic way for us to mark our apprentices’ achievements and to show how much we value their contribution. They were thrilled – even asking for duplicate certificates so they can display them back at work.”
