This month Rapid has been out and about at two major industry exhibitions.
We had a fantastic few days at the Energy Show at
UK Construction Week at the NEC Birmingham, where we shared the stand with our EV partners Schneider Electric. There was a lot of interest in the EV charging services we can provide and we were delighted to be nominated among the show’s top stands. On the final day of the show Danny Winn of Schneider gave a presentation to a packed audience in the REA Theatre on "EV Charging - Solving the Energy Paradox", which focused on the energy management challenges posed by EV charging and the solutions Schneider can provide for commercial customers.
The following week the team were at the
Engineering Design Show in Coventry, which put us right at the heart of the latest developments in the electronics, engineering and embedded design community. This was certainly a show with an EV theme, with one of the keynote presentations by the 'Plug in adventurer' and EV enthusiast Chris Ramsey, whose expeditions in electric cars have brought him international media attention. We made lots of new contacts, saw some old friends and presented our key products and services.
