Get inspired with Rapid at Bett 2015
The education world is gearing up for Bett 2015 – the UK’s biggest educational technology show, which takes place at Excel London from January 21-24. This year's keynote speakers include Jimmy Wales, founder of Wikipedia, Education Secretary Nicky Morgan and teenage science prodigy Jack Andraka.

The Rapid Education stand at Excel will be a hub of activity and learning.

In addition to demonstrating our key STEM resources, we have worked closely with our product and education partners to put together an exciting programme of seminars, talks and activities. These will run throughout the four days of the show at our stand (B510), and focus on the products, platforms and software that can help pupils become the innovators and engineers of tomorrow.

Among those speaking will be Richard Green and Andy Mitchell, Chief Executive and Assistant Chief Executive of the Design and Technology Association. Their keynote seminar "Supporting the Use of Digital Technologies" takes place on Thursday 22 and Friday 23 January. Also appearing will be representatives from Aldebaran Robotics
– makers of the NAO robot – and technology education consultant Bryan Williams. Many of the talks will focus on robotics programming software such as Autodesk, RobotC, Flowol and Python, as well as demonstrating how platforms such as VEX Robotics and VEX IQ can be integrated into the classroom.

"We wanted to give visitors to our stand something a little different this year", said Chris Calver, Education Manager at Rapid, who will himself present talks on 3D printing and VEX IQ. "We are delighted to welcome so many of our product partners and influential STEM professionals, who will share their skills, knowledge and experience of a wide range of topics, from programming languages to learning environments."

There will also be the chance to see products and software in action, get involved with programming and 3D printing and find out how Rapid can provide the tools of your STEM teaching. So if you are going to Bett this year, please come and see us on stand B510 between January 21-24.
