Rapid Education will be bringing STEM to life for all school ages at Bett 2019, the UK's leading educational technology event, at ExCel London from January 23-26.
We will be demonstrating our wide range of robotics products, from
V5, the new control system for the VEX Robotics competition which Rapid continues to bring to schools across the UK, to Cue, the latest addition to the
Wonder Workshop family of primary school-level robots.
We will also be promoting the second year of the drone racing and 3D printing STEM secondary challenge
Airgineers. The objective of this challenge is for students to design, build and fly their own radio controlled drone. The challenge has two classes, one in which the drones are assembled in kit form and the other, the Micro Class, where manufacturing techniques such as 3D printing, CNC milling and vacuum forming are used to assemble the drone. At Bett you will be able to see how Autodesk Fusion360 and Tinker CAD can be used to design a Micro Class drone chassis, and the
UP Mini 2 ES 3D printer and
Mayku desktop vacuum forming machine to produce one.
You may remember that we launched the educational robotic arm system
Fable at last year's Bett. The beauty of Fable is that it is modular, and this year you can see how a new wheeled module, Fable Spin, adds another new dimension to Fable's functionality.
The
Rapid stand is always a popular place, and this year promises to be no exception.
We look forward to seeing you at Bett - register for your free tickets
