30 April 2019 Question by: John Worthington | Product code: 85-1824
Q. Why is it not recommended as a battery charger
A. Hi John, thank you for your question. This is a power supply not a charger. Attempting to use it for that purpose causes damage. The battery voltage back feeds into the unit causing premature failure of the internal components which is not covered by the warranty.

22 September 2015 Question by: Derek | Product code: 85-1824
Q. What is the max current available with the fixed 13.8 volts option? Thanks.
A. Hi Derek, thank you for your question. At the fixed 13.8V option the unit will still be able to supply the full 25A current.
