Adafruit 2491 ESP8266 SMT Module Breakout Board - ESP-12

The Adafruit ESP8266 SMT Module Breakout Board uses the Internet of Things chip of choice, the ESP8266, running at 80MHz, with 4Mbytes of Flash memory, 9 x GPIO pins, and 1 x analogue input. Adafruit have produced this breadboard friendly breakout with an on board antenna so you can get to know this very successful chip. It comes pre-programmed with NodeMCU Lua firmware which lets you perform complex network tasks in a small number of steps. Supplied as an assembled and tested ESP8266 breakout.

Please note, this is not a suitable board for novices as the raw chip can be difficult to use. Instead, consider Adafruit's HUZZAH ESP8266 breakout which is a useful board for prototyping as it is easier to get working than the SMT breakout. Adafruit provide the Huzzah's schematics if you want to use the SMT board and add your own support circuitry.
