Q. We are encountering problems trying to obtain a 4 core cable to this specification from DIY outlets e.g. Wickes, B & Q. Is it the same as a 3 core plus earth?

Three core and earth cable tends to be single strand wire in each core and not very flexible, whereas this cable is multi strand for each core and hence more flexible.
