Question by Mike | Product code: 20-1397
26 April 2013

Q Does this company produce a 2 pole jack socket.. as I use them more than the stereo version.
A Hi Mike. Thank you for your question. 20-1430 is a 2 pole switched jack socket.

Q Are these sockets normally open? I need a socket that closes as the jack is removed (like the ripcord of a personal attack alarm).
A This is partially correct. The contact would be normally open and would close once the jack is removed which would break the contact, but there are no switching parts as the contact would only close between the jack connector and the socket.
