Use the 3M™ PELTOR™ X5 Encapsulate Protector for powerful hearing protection against moderate to high noise levels. The 3M Peltor X5 ear caps are colour-coded in black, so that the selection of the right protection level from the X series becomes very easy. Our ear cap protection combines 3M's well-known experience in hearing protection products with advanced technology and contains a specially developed foam in the ear protection plugs and ear cushions with an innovative design of the spacers and ear caps. Thus the 3M Peltor X Series X5 Encapsulate hearing protector offers the highest attenuation in the market and reduces noise by up to 37 dB. Despite the larger ear caps, the cap protection is light thanks to the technology used in development and is characterised by its excellent balance and comfort. The double head design not only reduces heat build-up, but also offers a good fit and good balance. The plastic-coated stainless steel wire makes the headband the most robust 3M has to offer, which is also electrically insulated. It is both strong and comfortable, since the wide flat head bracket has a soft plastic coating which exerts a stable pressure on the head. Carefully shaped valves ensure that the ear caps protection can be adjusted easily on the head. Wide, soft foam insulation cushions make employees feel comfortable, while the narrow ear caps provide improved compatibility with other safety equipment. The pads and foam inserts are available in the form of hygiene kits that can be easily replaced if damaged or worn. This ensures a longer product life.
