Q. Hello. I don't see any way to select the voltage - how is this done?
A. Hi Craig, thank you for your question. The voltage is selected via a resistor pin that is inserted in the side for the output voltage.
This innovative plugtop switch mode power supply from TT Electronics will supply any one of 20 fully regulated voltages by means of a resistor that pushes into the side of the unit.

Q. Does this have short-circuit or over-current protection?
A. Hi Paul. Thank you for your question. We have spoken to PowerPax and they confirmed this power supply incorporates short circuit/over current protection.
Q. Can I drive three 9 x 1 watt power led units i.e - 55-2612 (family) optimally with this power supply and would I need to wire them in series or each unit seperately from the power supply?
A. Hi John. Thank you for your question. You can drive 2 but not 3. The voltage needs to be set at 12v. You can drive 2 from one supply with the led modules in parallel. I would suggest one supply per module as each draws 1.5A. With 2 the supply is at the max of 3A so it may not be the best solution for long term reliability.
Q. Hi, can you tell me if the the voltage supply is regulated? thanks, Kevin.
A. Hi Kevin, Thanks for your question. The voltage supply is fully regulated.
