Q. What is the maximum DC level permissible between the secondary windings ??
A. Hi Dave. Thank you for your question. This transformer will supply AC output of either 12V at 6VA or if both secondary windings are utilised 24V but at only 3VA.

Q. Can these be used in reverse, stepping up, as long as the VA rating is taken into account at the output is eg 3VA / 230v = 0.13mA. or 6VA / 230 = 0.26mA.
A. Hi Rodney, thanks for your question. Yes this can be done, as long as the ratings are observed. Input must be AC not DC.
