Zircon's MultiScanner™ i700 OneStep™ wall scanner is the world's most sophisticated, yet simple scanning tool. It quickly and accurately locates studs, joists, metal and hot electrical wire. Zircon-exclusive CenterVision™ technology finds the centre of studs with just one pass and an ultra-bright LCD screen indicates direction, edge, and centre of studs. An innovative, floating head provides smooth contact for accuracy on uneven surfaces. A built-in, erasable marker makes mapping targets one-touch easy. Stud Scan mode finds metal or wood studs and joists up to 38 mm deep. Metal Scan mode detects ferrous metal, such as rebar or steel pipe up to 76 mm deep and non-ferrous metal, such as copper pipe up to 38 mm deep. AC Scan mode finds and traces live electrical wire (not shielded by metal). SpotLite® Pointing System and audio alert automatically identify the target. In stud or metal modes, WireWarning® detection indicates the presence of unshielded hot electrical wiring. ACT™ Auto Correcting Technology checks calibration 10 times per second and recalibrates automatically to ensure accuracy. A signal strength indicator helps determine the target's depth.
