Q. Hello, Please advise on the length of the arms and whether the magnifying lamp can also be mounted in a base (rather than bench clamp)?. Also, an answer to a previous question suggests 5x magnification, but the specifications suggest 3x magnification; please confirm which is correct? Many thanks.

A. Hi Leon. Thank you for your question. The magnification is 3x, the two arms are approximately 38cm long into the elbow joint and the base stem is roughly 8mm in diameter and 5mm long and is supplied with a bench clamp.

Hello, My girlfriend wants one of these lamps and i was wondering if you could tell me: 1) How many time magnification does the lamp provide? 2) do the bulbs run out? 3) do you sell replacement bulbs and how much are they? 4) how much would it cost to get the lamp sent to liverpool. i have been trying to get one of these for a while. hope to hear from you soon Michael Cato

A. Hi Michael, thanks for your question. The lamp provides x3 magnification; the bulbs do run out eventually but we sell the replacement tube bulb (order code 86-3255) these cost £9.69. Delivery would be free as your order would be over £30. I hope this helps.
