Q. Using this product, would it eliminate the possibility of setting off smoke alarms when working on equipment that cannot be moved to be soldered or de-soldered ?
A. Hi Jon, thanks for your question. The extractor would reduce it but not eliminate it completely - to an extent of course it depends on the sensitivity of the alarm.
