The new
Voltcraft VC890 (K) digital multimeter is sturdy, reliable, and practical with an ergonomic shape and safe for the user; these are the attributes which describe a professional's multimeter. The patented casing construction only allows you to open the casing for changing the battery and the fuses when all the measuring leads have been disconnected. The integrated test lead detection-function (TLD®) warns the user if the test leads are connected incorrectly. With input voltages >30V a warning icon appears in the display. The unique safety concept is rounded off by the sturdy casing with sprayed soft-rubber protection, the 1000V high-performance fuses as well as the impedance switch-over, which reduces the input resistance upon pressing a button to avoid incorrect measurements due to stray voltages. An opto-electronic interface is standard equipment. The devices are for measurement in the over-voltage category CAT IV 600V and CAT III 1000V approved and tested as per EN-61010 standards. Supplied with battery, test leads, ISO calibration certificate, evaluation VoltSoft software and manual.
