Unlike many other battery chargers, the Velleman Universal Battery Charger Kit enables you to charge both Nickel Cadmium (NiCd) and Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries. They can be charged either quickly (52 minutes) or normally (14 hours). In order to ensure the battery is fully discharged prior to charging and thus has a longer life cycle, an automatic discharger is also fitted.
