Red banana to banana test lead with stackable 4mm banana plugs machined from brass and nickel plated. The plugs also have a moveable multi-lam contact cage spring for tight fit.
Q. Does this wire come with a plug like 17-2638 which can be opened up and fixed back on should it become detached or is the lead fused to the wire?
A. Hi Denise, thank you for your question. The plugs are openable. Plug inner pin spot welded to the wire but it should solder in the event of a repair being required.
Q. Is this, and others in the same range, fitted with the 55/0.1 extra flex lead?
A. Hi Michael. Thank you for your question. The same cable is fitted with this range of leads.

Ideal for school science. Save time making up class sets and if you take technician time into account a veritable bargain! Could be made more robust, hence only four stars.
