<p>These shrouded 4mm binding posts are ideal for panel mounting. They require a cut-out of 8.2mm and are terminated by means of twin nut fastening. Ideal for audio speaker connectors and other applications where robust high power connections are required. They have a 4mm end hole suitable for a wide variety of leads and probes terminals and a strong threaded insert for added reliability and to ensure a secure fixing.</p>

Q. Is there a cross hole for attaching a wire above the panel?
A. Hi N Coppin. Thank you for your question. These 4mm binding posts do not have a hole according to the data sheets.

A. Hi Jody. Thank you for your question. The only conductive part on these sockets is the nut so they are insulated.

Yes they unscrew allowing you to insert bare wire or a plug.
