Reporting and Investigation

Rapid Electronics encourages employees, workers and other individuals associated with the business to raise concerns regarding the conduct of third parties.

All concerns will be considered promptly and, where appropriate, investigated in accordance with Rapid Electronics' policies and procedures.

Where concerns involve a third party, Rapid Electronics may contact the relevant organisation and require reasonable cooperation in any investigation or risk management measures.

Third parties are expected to investigate concerns involving their personnel and take appropriate corrective action where necessary.

Consequences of Non-Compliance

Where a third party fails to meet these standards, Rapid Electronics reserves the right, acting reasonably and proportionately, to take any action it considers necessary to protect its employees, workers, contractors, visitors, business interests and legal obligations.

Such action may include:

  • Requiring the immediate cessation of inappropriate behaviour.
  • Requiring the removal of individuals from company premises, activities or assignments.
  • Refusing access to company sites, meetings, events, systems or facilities.
  • Escalating concerns to the third party's employer, organisation or professional body.
  • Suspending work, services, assignments or commercial arrangements.
  • Restricting future engagement with individuals or organisations.
  • Terminating contracts or business relationships where permitted under the relevant contractual arrangements.
  • Reporting matters to the police, regulators or other appropriate authorities where necessary.

Third-Party Conduct Requirement

By accepting an order, engagement, contract or other business arrangement with Rapid Electronics, the organisation agrees to comply with the standards set out in the Rapid Electronics Third-Party Standards of Conduct and to take reasonable steps to ensure compliance by its employees, workers, contractors, agents and representatives.

The organisation shall cooperate with any reasonable enquiries or investigations relating to alleged breaches of these standards and shall take appropriate corrective action where concerns are substantiated.

A material breach of these standards may result in Rapid Electronics requiring the removal of individuals from its premises or activities, restricting access to its facilities or personnel, suspending services, or terminating the relevant contract or business relationship where permitted under the applicable contractual arrangements.

Nothing in this clause limits Rapid Electronics' right to take immediate and proportionate action where it reasonably considers such action necessary to protect its employees, workers, contractors, visitors or other representatives, or to comply with its legal obligations.
