15 December 2018 Question by: Rapid Customer | Product code: 60-7420
Q. What is the acronym RH?
A. Hi T Andrew, thank you for your question. It stand for Relative humidity which is the ration of the current absolute humidity to the highest possible absolute humidity (which depends on the current air temperature). A reading of 100 percent relative humidity means that the air is totally saturated with water vapour and cannot hold any more, creating the possibility of rain.
