Telemecanique XUSL4E14F046N Type 4 45 Beam 14mm Resolution Light Curtain

The Telemecanique XUSL4E14F046N safety light curtain system generates an array of 45 infra-red beams that are used to ensure the security of an operator by stopping machines, etc., when at least one of the light beams is interrupted.

The system consists of a microprocessor-controlled receiver and transmitter facing each other. An array of infra-red LEDs is located in the transmitter that emits infra-red beams to photo-sensitive cells located in the receiver. The infra-red LEDs are triggered sequentially and the receiver photo-cells are synchronized to detect only the corresponding beam.
