A general purpose 4 to 20mA loop powered infrared temperature transmitter that is housed in a robust stainless steel body. Designed as an alternative to traditional probe assemblies for applications where physical contact with the target is not desired. The sensor measures the average temperature of an area dependent on the configuration of the divergent optics.
