Shaw Magnets Button magnet 12.5 x 9.5mm, 4.5mm hole

A 12.5mm diameter Button Magnet from Shaw Magnets, made from Alnico magnetic material. Alnico is an alloy of iron, ALuminium, NIckel and CObalt and has a high resistance to loss of magnetism. The magnet is supplied complete with a keeper which further helps to 'keep' the magnetism without gradual loss and to protect the magnetic surfaces. The central mounting hole provides an easy way of fastening the magnet to frames, supports, clamps etc., and even allow simple support of the magnet by means of a string or cord with a large knot in one end.
