The Seaward Powerplus 1557 Multi Function Tester 363A912 is a world’s first. It automatically records test and inspection information onto built-in electronic copies of 17th edition certificates as you perform tests. The built-in certificates include electrical installation certificate, periodic inspection report and minor works certificates for domestic and commercial sites. And because it’s an intelligent machine, the onboard data validation checks for blank fields or invalid measurements ensuring that only the correct information goes into the right certificate field. This easy-to-navigate device is a real aid to accuracy and efficiency. It can save hours per day of inspection and testing time by doing away with the hassle of traditional methods such as a PDA, pens, paper, look-up tables and entering the data twice.

With the accompanying PowerPlus PC software, the 1557 loads 17th edition certificate information onto your PC via Bluetooth. So you can store it for record traceability and print directly onto pre-printed stationery. When the time comes to retest, the certificate data can simply be transferred back to the tester. And, because you can add templates as new certificates emerge, the 1557 is future-proof.

It’s comprehensive testing features include: Earth continuity, insulation resistance (100V, 250V, 500V, 1000V), line impedance, high current and non-tripping earth loop, RCD auto sequence, RCD trip time, RCD trip current (ramp test), voltage, frequency and phase rotation measurement.
