Q. Is the 55 figure an accurate measurement of the gap distance, as I have not seen this mentioned for this product on any other site, even Sealey's own?

A. Hi Pauline, thank you for your question. We have been advised from the manufacturer; jaw capacity 23mm, screw adjustment 55mm.
