Q. Will this mate with a long plug (20-0920)?

A. Hi Phil. Thank you for your question. Ideally this is suited to this DC plug (20-0924) as they are both 10mm shafts. The longer 14mm plug should work but will leave 4mm of the barrel exposed.

Not easy to get, except from Rapid

Its quite easy to obtain PCB mounted sockets but 2.5mm power sockets in the line mount style is another matter. If you do find them, then it seems to be at a very premium price, These ones tick all the boxes. The price is extremely good and the low price is not reflected in the quality which is great. Naturally delivery is quick.
