This simple but interesting project has been designed by Rapid's technical team for Key Stages 1, 2 & 3 students. It will help them to make a fully working Red LED mini-light from the parts supplied in this great kit. The classpack is supplied in a handy storage tray with lid, containing sufficient components for 20 mini-lights.

Well thought-out product, and a useful storage tray with lid. The white LED kits use 3 cells so the foam is thicker than illustrated. The 1.5mm polystyrene can be cut with heavy-duty scissors 86-1238 but inward curves are tricky, even for an adult. 1mm high impact polystyrene (eg 37-3148 or other colours) is easier for primary age-range to use, and can be cut with normal scissors, but are packed in 10 sheets of one colour.
