Panasonic EXF72PN General Purpose Leak Detection Sensor

A high-speed, reliable water/fluorinert leak detection sensor that uses a new type of detection method to discover even the smallest of leaks. An IR beam is generated that normally is reflected back to the sensor via the sensing surface of the body. Should a small amount of liquid touch the sensor body, the capillary action scatters the beam and prevents it from being received. After leak detection reset is simply a matter of wiping off the sensor body.
